In 2002, a Hudson County, New Jersey jury awarded a verdict of $550,000, in a personal injury action for a client injured in a car accident while visiting New Jersey.
Before trial, the insurance company had offered only $30,000.00, a fraction of what the jury returned as its verdict.
This case later settled after the
verdict.

Rivera v. The National Enquirer:
_ In an important first amendment case that received national press coverage, Corinne Mullen successfully defended a New Jersey judge. (See our Press Coverage page).
United States of America v. P.C.:
In 1995, Ms. Mullen successfully tried a six-month securities fraud prosecution in United States District Court. Ms. Mullen's client, a stock promoter, was the only defendant acquitted in that case. (See our Press Coverage page for article about this case).

In 1988, the world watched as the first surrogate parenting agreement was legally tested in Bergen County, New Jersey.

First Amendment Lawyer:
As a lawyer for the New Jersey Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, Corinne Mullen participated in ground breaking first amendment litigation: representing a Rutgers' professor in litigation that sought to silence his free speech rights in a federal housing discrimination case, and lifting gag orders in litigation.
